Knee anatomy: critical review

RPA Janssen analyzes recent developments in anatomy and surgical repair of the posteromedial structures of the knee in cooperation with dr A. Lataster, head of the department of Anatomy and Embryology of Maastricht University and physiotherapist F. Brooymans. They have studied anatomy and rotatory deviations of medial knee lesions on human cadavers. Further research is undertaken to translate these findings into physical examination details and possible surgical reconstructions in daily practice.
