Scientific research

Two senior researchers are involved in the scientific research by the Orthopaedic Associates Eindhoven Greater Area: Marieke van der Steen PhD and Wai-Yan Liu PhD. They coordinate orthopaedic scientific studies as well as scientific education in the orthopaedic residency program. There are three main research topics: Knee, Pediatric orthopaedics and Infection arthroplasty. RPA Janssen MD PhD Prof coordinates the Knee research as orthopaedic surgeon, associate profesor knee reconstruction, professor value-based health care and director of the orthopaedic residency program (Current scientific research Knee).

The research projects involve PhD reserachers and students from Maastricht University, Erasmus University Rotterdam, Aarhus University (Dk), University of Technology Eindhoven and Fontys University of Applied Sciences.
