Máxima Medical Center: Best hospital in South of Netherlands

Máxima Medical Center (MMC) ranks on top of the Elsevier list of best hospitals in the Netherlands.  The independent survey shows that the MMC has an optimal level of service and information for the patient combined with short waiting lists.  Maximum score on the list is 8 points, MMC has a score of 7. No other hospital in the South of the Netherlands obtains 7 points. The Elsevier survey is based on quality parameters that all hospitals need to publish such as waiting lists, patient satisfaction and annual reports. The score is based on the following items: medical care, patient service, safety and efficiency.  MMC has a maximum score on medical care and patient service.
